Mom and Dad’s incredible journey begins in Portugal, where they meet in 2019 at a 3D design course—Mom was 28 and teaching interior design classes, and Dad, 27, was dreaming of becoming an architect in Canada. In 2021, during the pandemic, they find a farm in Salmon Arm, BC, where they work in exchange for food and shelter, making their dream of moving to Canada a reality. Mom even adopts two lambs from the farm! They make many wonderful friends in Salmon Arm, and four months later, with a trusty Pontiac Aztec, they find jobs in Vancouver and Abbotsford and settle in Surrey. Theo was a fluffy, caramel-colored puppy with soft curls. A kind girl chose him, and they became inseparable — going on coffee dates, to the park, shopping, and visiting a boy who worked with cows. Theo loved her gentle heart, and she loved his quiet, sweet nature.

Theo and Dash adored him. They snuggled him while he slept, covered him in kisses, and made him giggle. For seven wonderful months, they were the best big brothers a baby could have.

Countless Descendants – Abraham’s offspring would be as numerous as the stars.

Genesis 15:5: “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them. So shall your offspring be.”
A Covenant Relationship – God promised to be the God of Abraham and his descendants forever.

Genesis 17:7: “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you.”
A Son (Isaac) in Old Age – Though Sarah was barren, God promised Abraham a son.

Genesis 17:19: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant.”
These promises were fulfilled in different ways:

Israel became a great nation.
The land of Canaan was given to Israel.
Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham, brought salvation to all nations.

The snake ate as many fish as he could and slithered out of the river, his belly full.

The snake thought about the fish and the rabbit and felt ashamed. “I want to be better,” he
said. He apologized to the rabbit and promised to change. From that day on, the snake
became friends with the squirrel, bird, rabbit, and even the fish. Together, they showed the
forest that kindness is the greatest treasure.
