In front of him, the familiar park had vanished.

One winter day Sarah was walking in the forest and met Santa's Elf. The Elf told her that Santa was sick and would not be able to deliver all the presents to the children on time. The Elf asked Sarah for help, he said that only a child with a good and brave heart would be able to replace Santa and save the holidays. Sarah agreed. She did not want the children to not get presents on Christmas and be sad. Sarah went to the elf factory, where the elves make and wrap Christmas presents. Sarah helped wrap the presents and checked if each child got the right present. Sarah got to know Santa's reindeer and also visited Santa. Santa thanked her very much for her help. Sarah wrapped the presents on the sleigh. She got on the sleigh, and the reindeer flew high into the sky. Sarah went to every house on the night before Christmas and left presents for the children. It was a wonderful adventure. All the children were happy, and Christmas was, as usual, special.

In a forgotten land, a gigantic red kangaroo named Big Red watched over all the animals. Every day, he bounded across the plains, mountains, rivers, and forests to reach a giant red rock. From there, he made sure every creature was safe and kind. One day, while crossing the river, Big Red found a bull shark and a crocodile fighting. He gently separated them with his huge paws and said, “Stop fighting. I want peace for all animals.” The shark and crocodile agreed to be kind. On another sunny day, Big Red was bounding toward his red rock when the ground beneath him crumbled. Rocks tumbled, and Big Red fell. The animals rushed to help, but Big Red was badly hurt. With a soft voice, he told them, “Don’t cry. I’ll become a star in the sky to watch over you.” Big Red closed his eyes, and his spirit rose, becoming the brightest star in the sky. That night, all the animals knew it was Big Red, still shining down, protecting them in the Land That Time Forgot.

Emma lives in Scarborough with her single mother. They live in an apartment building. Her mom does 2 jobs to make ends meet, however with high rent and cost of living, theyhardly have enough money for food. So one day, along with her mom, Emma goes to the local foodbank that is run by Feed Scarborough. At the foodbank, while Emma was waiting in one corner reading some fun books, while her mom was shopping at the foodbank, Emma saw a racoon walking around, playing with an apple. Emma started talking with the Racoon. Racoon told Emma that his name is Dignity, and the apple is his friend, named Hope. Dignity told emma all about food insecurity in our community and that she is not the only one who comes to the foodbank. Feed Scarborough's foodbanks are set up like a grocery store, so her mom can pick and choose the food that Emma likes. Dignity also told Emma about so many children, who are not having enough food to eat nowadays as times are tough. Dignity told Emma that better days are coming soon as Toronto's Mayor and Canada's Prime Minister is working together to have better food in school so no children need to study in empty stomach. As dignity was telling Emma these stories, suddenly Emma heard her Mom's voice, calling out to her. As she turned towards the door, she saw her mom asking her to come with her so they can leave the foodbank. As Emma turned back, Dignity and Hope was nowhere to be seen. Was Dignity and Hope real? Were they really there telling Emma the story or were they franction of her imagination, as on the wall, there was a poster of Dignity and Hope (which are the mascots of Feed Scarborough.
