Miss Emily is a Special Education teacher. Helena and Luke are students in Miss Eve's class. Miss Emily has put Helena and Luke in a group together. 1. John Jr and Nazut were playing in the backyard, when the saw a few hot air balloons in the sky. 2. John Jr and Nazut thought it looked fun and went inside to tell John Jr's parents. 3. John Jr's parents seemed pretty receptive to possibly going on a Hot Air Ballon as a family. They told John Jr and Nazut to find out more information. 4. John Jr and Nazut went to the internet. They found a company that wasn't too far from their home. 5. They found out it would cost about $200 per person and would last about an hour. John Jr and Nazut went back and told John Jr's parents and his mom made the reservations. 6. The long awaited day for the hot air balloon arrived and it was beautifully clear. As the pilot inflates the balloon, John Jr and Nazut can feel the heat from the burners and hear them roar. Once balloon was upright everyone boarded the super size basket. The take off was slow. John Jr and Nazut felt a breeze everytime they went to a new altitude. 6. John Jr and Nazut feel weightless as they glide through the air with the wind, traveling at speeds of five to six miles per hour. The 360 degree view was spectacular. Everything below looked so tiny. As the end of the ride approached, John Jr and Nazut thanked the pilot for "a magical experience that' was peaceful, exhilarating, and gentle." 7. The pilot had to keep using the burners to get the balloon to land. Once landed, everyone left the basket. John Jr and Nazut Thanked the pilot for an awesome time.

In a big, green jungle, there was a little boy named Mowgli. He was raised by wolves and had many animal friends. One day, a wise panther named Bagheera found Mowgli in the jungle. He decided to take Mowgli to the man-village for safety. On their journey, they met a fun-loving bear named Baloo. Baloo and Bagheera helped and protected Mowgli from a mean tiger named Shere Khan who wanted to harm him. Mowgli learned many jungle lessons from Baloo and Bagheera. He discovered that the jungle was full of friends, like a snake named Kaa and a group of lively monkeys. Despite the adventures, Mowgli missed the jungle. When Shere Khan returned, Mowgli decided to face him with the help of his animal friends. In the end, Mowgli bravely stood up to Shere Khan and scared him away. Mowgli realized that the jungle was his home, and he chose to stay with his animal family. And so, Mowgli lived happily in the jungle, surrounded by his animal friends who loved and cared for him.

The second sister, Bean Girl, was thin and quick. But Bean Girl was not very strong. She couldn’t stand up. She was good at making food, but she was always dirty and wet because she had to lie on the ground. The third sister, Squash Girl, was short and wide. She wore a yellow dress. She was hungry, too. For a long time, the sisters didn’t get along. They each wanted to be independent and free. So Corn Girl stood there with her sunburned feet and got hungrier and hungrier. And Bean Girl lay there on the ground and got dirtier and wetter. And the little short sister, Squash Girl, was hungry, too. One day Bean Girl asked Corn Girl, “What if I feed you some good food, and you can hold me up so I don’t have to lie on the ground?” Then little Squash Girl called up to her tall sister, “What if I lie on your feet and shade them so you won’t get sunburned?” So the Three Sisters learned to work together, so that everyone would be healthier and happier. Corn Girl helped Bean Girl stand up. Bean Girl fed Corn Girl and Squash Girl good food. And Squash Girl shaded Corn Girl’s feet and kept the weeds from growing up around them.
