Page 6: Next, Bella said, "Think of a happy place. Imagine your favorite spot and how safe you feel there." Finn closed his eyes and thought about his cozy den, wrapped in soft blankets. Page 7: "Now," Bella said, "let's take one little step up the hill. Just one. Then we can stop and see how you feel." Finn took a tiny step. "I did it!" he said, feeling proud. Page 8: With Bella's support, Finn climbed higher and higher. When they reached the top, Finn gasped. The sunset was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! Page 9: "I was scared, but I did it!" Finn cheered. Bella nodded. "Facing your fears little by little helps them feel smaller over time." Page 10: Finn learned that feeling scared was okay. He could take deep breaths, think of a happy place, and take small steps to feel better. Page 11: As they watched the sunset, Finn smiled. "Next time I feel scared, I’ll remember what you taught me." Era uma vez dois amigos, João e Pedro, ambos com 8 anos, que foram desafiados por um projeto da escola a vender 10 brinquedos usados em uma semana. Os brinquedos eram muito especiais, mas cada um tinha suas qualidades e algumas coisas que não eram tão boas. João sempre explicava para as crianças o que os brinquedos faziam de legal, mas também falava sobre as coisas que não eram tão legais, como quando o brinquedo fazia barulho demais ou não funcionava muito bem em alguns momentos. Ele queria que todos soubessem a verdade para que pudessem decidir o que era melhor para eles. No final da semana, João conseguiu vender 6 brinquedos. Pedro, por outro lado, só falava das partes legais dos brinquedos e escondia as partes que não eram tão boas. Ele dizia o que as crianças queriam ouvir, mesmo que não fosse completamente verdade. No final da semana, Pedro conseguiu vender 13 brinquedos. Muitas crianças compraram os brinquedos de Pedro porque ele contou coisas que pareciam muito boas, mas que não eram verdadeiras. Isso fez com que algumas crianças ficassem tristes quando descobriram que os brinquedos não eram tão legais quanto Pedro havia dito. A história nos ensina que, mesmo que seja tentador dizer só o que as pessoas querem ouvir, a verdade é muito importante. Quando dizemos a verdade, estamos sendo honestos, e isso nos ajuda a ficar mais perto de Deus.

They thought about how courageous Jesus was to completely surrender His life to God. As a result, He made a way for all humanity to be saved from sin by being crucified. John Jr told Jade that Jesus went about with boldness and confidence. John Jr and Jade wanted to be more courageous like Jesus. 2..Jesus taught people not to fear but to be courageous because God is always with them.John Jr and Jade felt comfort in Jesus' teachings and decided to make a list on how to be more courageous. They felt it was courageous to try new things, talk to people they don't know, speaking up, falling down and still keep going, facing difficulties/challenges even when hard. doing things on their own, and being able to face discomfort or pain. John Jr and Jade decided to put those courageous ways into practice 4. Jesus praised John Jr and Jade for being so courageous and told them how pleased God was them.

There was a frog named Sammy. Sammy was a happy frog, he loved to splash in his little pond and swim around. His friend, Flipp the Duck, was his best friend. They lived together in their little pond. Sammy hopped around and Flipp paddled through the water. They played hard all day splashing around and then slept on the sandy bank. One day Sammy brought up the fact that they hadn’t gotten rain for a while. Flipp agreed but they shrugged it off and continued to play. They continued to think to themselves that it would rain but after a week they still hadn’t gotten rain. Their pond began to dry up. One day Sammy and Flipp woke up and when they walked down to their pond excited to play, they were met with a dry hole. What was once their pond was now a giant muddy hole. Sammy couldn’t believe it “what are we going to do without a pond?” he muttered. Flipp began to say, “maybe it will rain and then it will fill back up”. Sammy agreed and he and Flipp sat in their muddy hole waiting for even the slightest drop of rain. Days passed without any rain the days were filled with boredom, Sammy began to ask, “will it ever rain?” Flipp responded “it will one day we just have to be patient”. One day while Flipp was curled up and Sammy was staring at the sky, Sammy felt a small drop on his forehead. “Flipp get up I felt a drop!” he screamed, Flipp perked up and looked at the sky more drops began to fall. They both stood up and started leaping with joy as it began to rain harder and harder. They watched as their pond slowly filled back up Sammy yelled “cannon ball!” and jumped in, Flipp watched and couldn’t wait any longer and then he splashed into their pond. They both splashed each other as the rain began to fall even harder. Every day they would play in their pond, and it continued to rain every day for them and they never had to worry about a dry pond again.
