Page 1 Today, Alex and Emma are going on a school trip to Lung Yeuk Tau. They are very excited to see the beautiful mountains and old villages! Page 2 The bus drives along the mountain road to Lung Yeuk Tau. Alex tells Emma, "The mountains here look like a dragon jumping, so it’s called Lung Yeuk Tau!" Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. And off they went. When they arrived, Niro saw multiple puzzle pieces floating by and then suddenly a tall puzzle piece appeared before them. It was King Jiggy of Jigsaw Land. He said - "Welcome to Jigsaw Land. My nephew, Max, is the missing piece in the puzzle. Please help me find him otherwise the puzzle will remain incomplete. " Niro became the detective. He asked King Jiggy - "Where did you last see him?" "I saw him near the sphinx which asks questions, " King Jiggy replied. "The sphinx has the head of a human, body of a lion and wings of an eagle. " Niro and Zo went to the Sphinx, and asked him - "Have you seen Max?" "I will tell you the way to Max if you answer this question - 'What has a head and a tail but no body?'" Zo replied thoughtfully - "Head and a tail? What can it be Niro?" Niro said - "I know! It's a coin!" . The sphinx smiled and lifted its paw to let them inside. It was dark and dingy. They suddenly heard someone laugh loudly. When they looked to the right, they saw a firefly which was glowing in the dark. "Hi! I am Light! Where do you want to go?" "We lost Max, a jigsaw puzzle piece. Have you seen him?" "Yes! He went that way. Let me take you. " As Light went ahead, their way was blocked by a giant frog. He croaked - "I go up and down, but never move. What am I?" Zo wondered and then replied - "A staircase!" "You are right! You may enter!" Then all of them moved ahead and found Max sobbing in a corner. Max had lost his way and Niro gently hugged him. Light guided him outside the sphinx. King Jiggy thanked them for finding Max and completing the puzzle!

One sunny afternoon, Jake and Mia were excited to play at the park. Their mom reminded them, "Be home by 5:30 P.M. to help with dinner." When they arrived at the park, Mia checked her watch. "It's 4:00 P.M., so we can play until 5:30 P.M. Let's use our time wisely!" Jake and Mia enjoyed playing on the swings, running races, and even making new friends. Mia checked her watch again.
