John Jr and Jade wanted more information about selflessness after reading the verse 1 Corinthians 13: "Selflessness is loving others, being patient and kind, and not being envious or rude." John Jr knew Jesus was showed selflessness. They knew that love Jrsus showed others sought nothing in return; he gave his time and energy freely to anyone who asked for it and plenty that didn't; he even humbled himself to the point of washing his friends' feet 2. John Jr and Jade thought of ways to be more selfless. They were going to try to Donate, Volunteer, Serve others: Compliment instead of criticize:, Empathize with others, and Practice active listening:. 3. John Jr and Jade reflected on the verse In Philippians 2:3-4 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." The remembered Jesus teaching the principles of cultivating humility, putting love into action, serving others, actively listening, practicing empathy, giving freely, forgiving, praying for selflessness, and seeking accountability,. John Jr and Jade had a desire to be more like Jesus and started being more selfless in their lives.

A Library Book is excited to be the newest book in the library. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again

Etisha and Mishika met on Tuesday, 1 March 2022. Two days later, Mishika went to invite her new neighbour for her birthday party. She was made to by her mother who said, “You must invite Etisha since she is new. She can make new friends.” And she did. Mishika and Etisha were inseparable since that day! What bonded them was a hamster. When Mishika went to Etisha’s house, she saw her out in the garden chasing a tiny brown hamster. To her surprise, Etisha shouted at her, “Will you just stand there and stare or you might want to help too. Come and get this little thing.” Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.

The main character is six year old little girl named Yara. She is a very cute, kind and sensible little girl. Yara has a very friendly face and personality. She is wearing a pink little outfit, with black ballerina pump style shoes and has two ponytails with yellow ribbons. She has long brown hair, dark eyes and a cute little button nose, with rosy cheeks. It is break time at school, and everyone is excited to open their lunch boxes—except for one little girl sitting all alone. Her name is Leila. She is new to the school and to Yara's class and is very shy. She doesn’t have any food for lunch like the other kids and seems very embarrassed about it. Some kids are staring at her, some of the girls are whispering to each other talking. Yara notices her sadness and feels a tug in her heart. Instead of joining her friends, Yara walks over to Leila with a smile and offers to share her lunch. Yaras friends see this and suddenly feel very bad for not being kinder to Leila. Tito comes over and offers Leila his juice from his lunch box. Keena comes over and shares her fruit with Leila. They became friends and Leila is feeling very happy. When he tried to tell his friend Lulu, Lulu took Michii to see Kiki’s mother and asked for permission to go to the next village festival the following day. The next day, Kiki was still feeling sad, but he was surprised and happy when Lulu took him to enjoy lots of delicious snacks at other village’s festival. Kiki was happy. Kiki said that the world was beautiful and that they had to move forward with their hopes, such as the hope of being able to try other delicious snack variants in the future.
