So he boarded a ship and sailed to another part of Greece called Myra. During the trip there was a bad storm and Nicklaus rescued one of the crew when he feel in the ocean, The other ship mates witnessed this and called him "Saint Nicklaus", He arrived in Myra and started his journey to become a monk. Through Gods direction, he discovered many more people in need of food, clothes, and especially children toys. One day he had a old relative revel to him his parents had left him a very large inheritance, an amount he could never spend on his own. So he decided that once a year he would deliver gifts to families and very special toys to every child in the family.
